Fun story... the office manager asked us to bring in items that were meaningful to us and said we'd never get them back.
Two weeks later we have our quarterly luncheon/meeting and we made a shrine for the "insurance gods" of our items to "bring good juju back into our office because we've had a tough year." It was like this weird show and tell because we had to talk about what the item(s) meant to us. You'd think being an adult would get rid of that high school fear of talking in front of everyone about yourself.

It doesn't.

Edit: I should mention that he called this his "fun team building of the year."
