    I would go in fully expecting worker to take over and www to no longer exist, to prevent surprises and prepare for it. Is there a chance www will still be around? Sure.

    Traditionally when sites change over to a new design/structure/whatever, they'll have both the old and new sites live and sometimes still allow users to switch between old and new, especially if the new site breaks something or lacks certain features. They've been doing that for a while now with www and worker. Usually a statement like they put out means that the 'switch period' is coming to an end and everything will be forced to the new site.

    Again, I don't have any confirmation besides that MTurk post, but with how other sites/companies have done it in the past, I would not be surprised if a forced switch-over will happen then.
