It could be my overclock not being 100% stable but if it is that honestly I would rather take my performance bump with how rare it happens for me but honestly it is prob just windows being windows.

My computer isn't really over/underclocked... more like side-clocked.
All C-states and Turbo Mode are disabled in the BIOS and it's running in high performance mode with all power-saving settings turned off (for the CPU, for the network hardware, for the USB hosts, etc.). This computer is optimized for minimal DPC Latency under heavy CPU load from stacks and stacks of DSP plugins and a tiny 64-sample ASIO buffer.

I'm running my i5 2500k @ 4.8ghz. DPC Latency isn't a thing that matters for most people anyways.

 

Lol I know I talk about how shitty my power-saving 10W netbooks are, but now that I'm set up somewhere, I've got both of my desktops set up. They're powerhouses since I built them when I was living in a house and doing well lol.
