I really don't know where to start on all this but here goes...
Today my son will be 1 week old and I'm overjoyed and having the best week of my life. My year started with my Mom passing away. If anyone had told me that it'd be okay and that my family was going to grow (in more ways than one) I wouldn't have believed them. With that there are a lot of people here that I need to throw a shout out to.
@jessers - You are quite possibly the most selfless, kindhearted, and genuine person I will ever meet. You have done so much for me! You are just so awesome and your efforts to make the world better leave me in awe!
@leafs4_cup - I appreciate all you've done for me with our little chats loaded with advice and helping me build confidence. You are a great friend and I appreciate all you do!
@Buzby - You've always got such a killer attitude and are such a good friend, I've officially adopted you to be my little sister (expect the papers in the mail soon ;)). Jokes aside I appreciate you're thoughtfulness and your spirit and ability to always brighten my day.
@Jesicu - I have to mention you for the sound advice you gave me for dealing with my wife in labor. It was so much appreciated especially since I was in quite a tailspin wondering what to do!
@Hummingbirdee - Through this whole process you've been at my back with lots of encouraging words (and gifs) and it was such a huge help and did not go unnoticed. Whether it be in the daily or a PM it's always pleasant to talk to you.
@Celtic Lady - When I was overwhelmed and feeling down you gave me a huge boost and came back to check on me. To take that kind of time to look out for me was much appreciated.
@laby - Thanks for taking the time to send us the info on scoring some great coupons and whatnot it was very kind of you to take the time and super handy! :)
You all became like family to me and I don't know what I did to deserve such awesome friends but I'm really lucky!
I know I've probably forgot a few, it's a been a whirlwind of a week. To the forum as a whole (wish I tag the forum as a whole), my mod team @Moderator, and of course @ChrisTurk you are all such awesome people. Aside from my story I've seen members come together for @jdzane's anniversary, support each other through grief, divorce or hardships and also celebrate in each other's joy. This place is a special corner of the internet and couldn't imagine working/chatting with a better group of people.
(Tiny bear hat for @Girl Polar Bear :))
TL;DR - This forum has awesome and kind members. Have a great day Turking all!

Sigh. A survey said I failed an attention check, and I thought it was a memory test and thought it looked weird, so I gave it my best shot. Pretty sure I'm not going to be able to argue my case on it.
On another note, PaperKarma replied back to me & reversed their rejection from early Monday morning. According to TO, they are using an automatic system to approve & deny and sometimes they have false negatives. They agreed with me that I was careful to identify the names carefully. Regardless, I'm not going to do their HITs again since they use faulty automation to approve the HITs. -
