Ok sorry ahead of time for the length going to include everything I've tried up to this point.

everything was fine at 1 a.m was working a batch and decided to take a nap, fast forward to 5 am
my desktop told me there was no internet and did not show my home network so I could reconnect - first thought router problem
rebooted router - nothing at same time realized every computer TV and alexa in my house had disconnected from the wifi

router is in my livingroom - laptop in same room reconnected immediately and the alexa in that room as soon as I put it in set up mode found the network it had been connected to and reconnected.

back upstairs to office- desktop still won't find network alexa in office would not reconnected automatically but did after I went through complete set up again.

Thinking maybe it was a distance thing brought my laptop upstairs to the office but It stayed connected to the wifi

rebooted desktop, updated drivers, logged out of windows and tried connecting to network, ran diagnostic on router from providers app and a few other things like checking settings for wifi so far home network is still not showing up.

Oh i needed internet to download drivers and I can pick up an xfinity hotspot from my house and they give you an hour free a day so connected to that to install drivers so the desktop does pick up other networks and will connect to them just not my home network.

current limitations - connecting via ethernet would require carrying my desktop downstairs and I can nolonger mess with the router as my husband is working so might not be much more I can do until later today but I am out of ideas
