    That's so cool you have some letters from WWI and WWII! I'm so sorry though that you never got to meet him. Being a captain in the Navy for both WWI and WWII is pretty incredible. My Grandfather was immensely private so we just have stories we've passed down from sibling to sibling, we don't have anything in writing. Your Aunt sounds amazing as well as your nephew. Thank you for sharing their stories!
