Hahaha - no - the second set is definitely a little more labor intensive as they have a zipper. But look cute in the snow if you have to go out to - well, anything, from Nov - April in a Northern climate...

However.... I broke my knee in three places two years ago and it is still hard to put on a boot so I still stick with these for super-ease (I have never re-tied the Columbias and just stomped into them today... )

Well I'm in western NC, up in the mountains. So while summers here might feel tropical to some northern folks, winters still are still hella cold for us southerners.
