Did anybody get this to work? All I get is a unity failed to upgrade error, since unity web player doesn't work or allow updates anymore?

 

Did you try it with an alternate browser? Sometimes when Chrome fails, I try using Firefox for the HIT.

I'm in this task right now, it started but has frozen after three trials.

 

I reloaded it and got it to work. Am wearing high quality headphones and got booted out because my speakers weren't adequate for the experiment. Screw this guy and his overly complicated BS

 

Okay, so I tried every browser.

I finally figured the problem; the link is malformed, it's:

http://https//etkinlabtaskpilot.com/mTurk/ClarkeTask_Chords.html

So, I figured they were trying to host it on https

The problem is, the content is also hosted incorrectly; there's a malformed uwp problem, but http allows the package to deploy.


If anybody else catches this and is having a problem, the solution is

Run ie11 on win10 (wouldn't work on 64bit ie11 in windows 7, didn't try 32 bit)
Download the final build of unity web player if you don't already have it(you'll be prompted from the link)
When you start the task, go to http://etkinlabtaskpilot.com/mTurk/ClarkeTask_Chords.html
