Hi,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry about the rejection. In order to verify that the annotators truly understand our instructions and take careful consideration before annotating, we insert some pieces of official and widely-recognized data (both in sentiment and naturalness) from standard NLP datasets (so-called "basic test" or "probes"). To keep fair, we have also invited several students in our university to test and they all got 90% correct on these specific "probes".


If we find that you do not pass 90% of these standard data, our program members will further inspect your annotations and decide to reject part of your annotations. If you still find it unfair and unethical, please let us know.


UPDATE: We have decided a bunch of rejections to be reversed. Hopefully yours are in them. We will work hard to see whether we can reverse more 。
