    My wife hates having money spent on her and she goes insane if I spend anything above like $20.

    Soooo this year our 3-year-old son "bought" her cheap gift. Since it didn't technically come from me I obviously have to buy something else.

    I could honestly careless, BUT I know how much joy it gives my husband and daughter to be able to get me stuff for christmas so I give them a list and a budget and they make a day of shopping and lunch. It really makes them so happy.
