When I got my 2nd vaccine, the nurse who gave it told me that it wasn't enough to just drink water, you had to keep your electrolytes up, so I drank Gatorade and my only side effects were feeling a little crummy for 24 hrs and a sore arm (no fever).

Got my booster last week and decided to play it safe and drink another electrolyte drink and again all I got was a sore arm. My sis also got the booster and didn't drink anything and she had a fever and was exhausted.

How much does my HIT submission rate come into play? something I should try to get higher?

 

I second electrolytes. In basically any situation where I don't feel well, they bring me back to life. I drink pedialyte now myself.

The stat itself doesn't matter, ignore it.

The impact of returning too much work is that a lot of it you can't do if you catch it again so you ideally want to only accept what you reasonably expect to be able to complete in a given timeframe.
