More RAM is never a bad thing, so it might, though I'd consider backing everything up and clearing your data/cookies/etc and reloading stuff.

A reload is a good idea, I've been running my mturk stuff in a VM so I can just revert the snapshot when things go wonky

Did you actually get matched with someone? Mine eventually said no match could be found, here's your completion code you'll still get paid the $2.

I always loved those quick side jobs. I would reccomend hitting the with malwarebytes first, that usually cleans up most of the crap quickly.

Dont forget CCleaner if you really want to pretend you did something. Gotta clear out the registry. Defragging too ;)

While CCleaner can be a good tool, I'm wary of using it on client machines, because I don't have it enough to see what the changes do over a longer period of time. Just be careful with it is all I'm saying. :)

CC cleaner is kind of a joke. Over the years it has become less and less useful. The only useful thing it did the last time I looked at it was search the registry for abandoned or no longer used keys. Other than that the rest of what it offers is just silly and can be done much more quickly manually.

Since we're on the topic of PC cleaning and maintenance, what are the programs or processes recommended to keep a PC running smooth?

Some guy who didn't like when @Jagdpanzer called the Africa PFA's mud huts cause he's got a stick lodged up his rear end he can't retrieve or something? He's disliked all his posts since then. I don't like stuff like that, it's so petty! Let it go bro. Or at least say actual words instead of disliking some odd 40 posts.
