Psht, I agree ridiculously adorable celeb crush of a certain mTurk forum administrator. That is some bullshirt. But alas, here we are, and so here I am going to provide you a big list of scripts ordered as well as I can make sense of it to get your day off on the right foot.

I've scoured GreasyFork and this forum and compiled all the scripts I know (...or kinda-sorta think) work on worker to quickly get you back up & running. If I missed one gimme a link and I'll fix. Otherwise right into it then:

Does It All​

mTurk Suite - @Kadauchi

mTurk Suite (MTS) will do pretty much everything for you. It can find HITs, accept them, and will eventually track them like HITDB.

Finding HITs (Scrapers)​

HIT Forker - @ThisPoorGuy

Fork of HIT Finder to continue running as a standalone userscript. Interfaces ​

HIT Scraper - feihtality

The old beauty classic of mTurk scrapers. Its been updated to be worker compliant as of two days ago.​

Overwatch - @Ethraiel

This is best used as a way to watch for Requesters/HITs you already know about.​

HIT Monitor for worker.mturk.com - DCI

HIT Monitor (HM) was the original Requester watcher for mturk. Overwatch is generally seen as newer/improved with a deeper feature set but the classic has been updated for those who can't let go of a good thing.

Accepting HITs​

Panda Crazy [ Helper | Queue ] - @JohnnyRS

PandaCrazy (PC) is one of the most well known scripts for catching HITs. Its been thoroughly vetted to work with worker.mturk and should be the de-facto choice for those looking for optimal performance. It also has an in-depth help page and you can message the author (@JohnnyRS here for feature requests/suggestions/etc).​

TurkMaster - DonovanM

TurkMaster is a classic car. She's pretty to look at, but honestly its mostly for show. Only use this if you're reliant on a familiar interface from the www original.

Expands your workspace.

Adds a contact link + HITs available count to the mid-tier navbar.

Queue Elegant Return

Will prevent your queue from reloading so you can return multiple HITs without losing your mind.

[MTURK] Queue Header Link - @Trickydude24

Adds a link to your HITs queue into the MTurk header on worker site

CAPTCHA Clear - @Eisenpower

Quickly clear CAPTCHAs by pressing "-" on your number pad.

[Mturk Worker] HIT Details Enhancer - @Kadauchi

Changes the HIT Details link text to the requester name, changes the requester name inside the popup to a link that searches for their HITs and adds the remaining HIT count to the details bar.​

[MTurk Worker] Workspace Expander - @Kadauchi

Expands accepted HITs to fill the browser viewport, scrolls to the HIT and focuses it.​

[MTurk Worker] Return All HITs - @Kadauchi

Returns all HITs that are in your queue​

[MTurk Worker] Confirm Return HIT - @Kadauchi

Prevent accidental returns by adding a prompt when returning a HIT​

[MTurk Worker] No HIT Reloader - @Kadauchi

Reloads pages automatically if no HIT is loaded for provided Group Ids​

[MTurk Worker] HIT Exporter - @Kadauchi

Allows you to export HITs as formatted text with short, plain, bbcode or markdown styling.​

Brings many enhancements to the MTurk Worker Dashboard.​

My dashboard is still working, I can pull up hits... I feel kinda like Y2K just [didn't] happen.

 

Right now some guy is drooling on mTurk's www server.. He'll wake up ~2PM EST after we've all been lulled into a false sense of security and flip the switch.
