I'm with ya, been doing a 2nd playthrough of Red Dead 2, taking my time though, coming across a ton of stuff I missed the first time around.

 

I think I did about 8 or 9 and noticed 1 rejection so far and the others are pending. I also only did ones with 1 fish. But I assumed it was because the server went down when I submitted one and possibly erased my work when it auto-submitted after the server came back up. Now I am worried.

 

I think I got to do a couple of those either yesterday or Monday. But it hasn't been repeatedly throughout the day like before. Either that or I am just not seeing them when they appear.

I'm still waiting to finish my first playthrough (didn't start the game until about a year ago). I made the mistake of going to the online play before finishing, and online play ruined the game for me. Its an amazing game in single player, but becomes so dull & boring online

It's funny, because "under the hood," the game is largely still the same framework as all the other R* stuff, starting with GTA 3 in 2001. So I know that the horse is really just an animated car or vehicle that has it's own handling settings much like cars do in GTA. But the fact that "I" bond with that stupid, manegy, glue factory bound idiot that is my horse, to me, is the real art of the game.

 

They really did nail everything in this game for the most part... beautiful world & absorbing playing experience, particularly if you like westerns and/or generally being out in nature. In single player, I spent quite a lot of time just exploring, hunting, etc. In multiplayer, they managed to make everything tedious to the point where the world began to feel stale, and now I can't even get back to the same place of enjoyment in single player... pretty disappointed about that since this game was so exceptional. I think I'm also almost done with the whole open world thing - the whole concept is becoming boring to me. I'm getting more into linear, arcade type games like shmups with high intensity and immediate dopamine rushes
