GH Squad,

We made leaps and bounds today on team GeoHIVE. There are currently a bunch of HITs out there being scooped up for building validation. Hopefully you guys aren't seeing black tiles as frequently, and are getting faster load times. Please give me some feedback there.

BASED ON YOUR FEEDBACK - We will now implement in all GeoHIVE campaigns that the POSITIVE vote will be key bind 1 (up top). We are now able to order our tags, thanks to our in-house geniusi (plural of genius, right?)

I did 2 hits today and both worked perfectly!

 

Are you referring to the large PicsFromAbove batch of residential/commercial HITs? I'm about to do a few of those and I can report back on the time/black tiles etc.

EDIT: Welp, that didn't take long. First went fast but the second stalled out after 6 maps. Back in potato server land.

EDIT 2: And a few more in and it's fine again.

 

Oh God. It was at that moment, Bobby knew that he had ****** up. I launched those accidentally from the PFA account!!! I'm cancelling the HITs, and will relaunch them from the GeoHIVE account.

 

Yeah, I thought that was referring to those who were testing it since I didn't see any lol

 

@Bobby I'm working on the pools right now and they are starting to get pretty buggy. I'll make my selection and the circle disappears, the counter advances but the map doesn't advance. If I make a selection again the counter advances and sometimes the map will advance but sometimes it won't. I'm probably going to try a different batch because I don't want to give you bad data on these.

 

Am I the only one that feels like it should

1) Object exists
2) Object does not exist
3) Cloud Cover

Instead of having cloud cover as #2?

That didn't work all the time for me.

If you have a fancy keyboard you can edit your keys until they fix it. (That is what I did)

 

That's a good idea thanks. Sometimes I forget I can do that on this keyboard.

 

After switching to build/no building I did not encounter this problem again. I did have several black maps though.

 

Awesome stuff. Managed to get a few in, but now the qualification is keeping me out.

Edit: Changing the methodology (the numbers for each of the categories) mid-batch was a little weird for some people, but it seems pretty good now.

 

Make sure you're requesting the new qual if a new batch pops up that you're not qual'ed for, it should grant it to you right away.

 

When you have a batch of the solar panels, you need to add a cloud cover option.

That's what my team and I agreed on today, but unfortunately the ordering feature broke again today. We had to move the repair to next week. We might be chasing that for a few days.
