Noob here. This is my third week working on MTurk and I'm learning the ins-and-outs of that underpaid venue known as micro-tasking ( "no code at the end of a HIT", "requestors who respond" and "requestors who don't") and expect there are plenty more surprises ahead, lol. I've discovered TamperMonkey, Turkopticon script, and the Turkopticon site (which sadly seems on its way out) and am beginning to explore HITscrappers and Panda. Please call me Mus, that's Latin for mouse. Thank you in advance for providing this resource to expand my knowledge. I look forward to exploring the Forums and appreciate every bit of the experience you've recorded in them. Hope you're all having a great day!
Hello, Mus https://forum.turkerview.com/wiki/ and https://forum.turkerview.com/forums/help/ is a good resource for just starting out. TO is not reliable.I would use TurkerView.
Hi, Turkinstien. I'm grateful for the insight and the recommended link - thanks a lot! Every little bit helps since I'm stumbling around dazed and confused from all the conflicting data! Much appreciated!
Hello @BenSolo Thanks for stopping to say Hi! I will check out link Turkinstien so kindly provided, thank you for taking a second to add your rec, too! Hope you're having a good day!
Hey, @AMindAtTurk, I will certainly find my way over to the daily thread and check it out! Thank you for taking the time to make me feel welcome I really appreciate it! Have a great day!
You should reply to people with the "@" symbol and their user name and then they will know you mentioned them in your post @Mus Upaclock
Also I would use this Chrome extension Mturk Suite. It has a scraper, tracker and finder. You will figure things out soon. I actually suck at this compared to most members.
@Turkinstien - thanks for yet another link and saving me the time of hunting for a good one! So, thanks thrice now, lol! We all get the hang of things in our own time and our own comfort level. I'm grateful for your kindness!
