Hi guys! My name is Garrett and I'm a temporarily-out-of-work Data Analyst. 37 M California I just finished a 5 year stint in a particularly rotten business (of course I will say I loved it on my resume) where I was surrounded by negativity... and I'd just like to comment that I was very surprised to find such an upbeat and pleasant community socked away over here in what I was told was the "Sweatshop of the internet"! Looking to make ends meet while I take a slower approach to my job search, so I could be here for a while. If I'm being honest though... I think the concept of microwork/turking is very interesting, and I think it's only going to grow in the future. (I'm aware the opposite is sometimes forecasted, but this kind of work is absolutely necessary for the health of machine learning/AI and that's incredibly interesting to me!) Nice to meet you all!
