I’ve used dark and light- prefer dark, personally- or granulated with maple syrup as a sub, cause there technically is such a thing as vegan brown sugar because of how they process brown sugar, so if someone is really strict, they might care about that.

also, my power just went out and a pipe burst under my house in the same few hours, so if I’m mia, you guys know why
