Totally understandable. Sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Everyone gets some rejections at some point - even with survey code, etc. My first one that stood was a couple months ago and I panicked and wanted to curl into a ball under the covers. Looking up the requesters, approval rating, etc is always a good idea which I found out the hard way as well.

It's frustrating, for sure, but don't let it get you down too much...

 

A box of snakes in the mail, or hiring a few homeless people to carry pitchforks and torches to their front door works too!

I have blues. They're still very clicky. They just don't bottom out anymore, I almost feel like I'm typing faster but it might be placebo. It's a decent amount quieter tho which was what I wanted.

You can get them in different sizes too.

 

Amazon reviews seem to support your typing faster theory. I almost want to try some on my keyboard.. but not for $15.

 

This is what I got. I like it because it's the same price as others and comes with a brush and microfiber. There was also like 10 extra o rings in the baggie.
