Will [ABQA8TBU3V6F7]

Overview

Will [ABQA8TBU3V6F7] is a Google Requester who posts HITs related to identifying human actions in YouTube videos. His work revolves around training AI to recognize the various actions found in his HITs.

NOTE: Since late February 2017, the "Evaluating Actions in Videos" HITs have been posted by Brian Z, under two different requester IDs: A2YU1Z58120DEP and A2XOUHD15RKQ1

TurkOpticon reviews can be found here (Will) and here (Brian Z A2X).

NOTICE: Will is a Google Requester. Do NOT return any HITs associated with Google Requesters as it will lock you out of all HITs hosted on their servers for the duration of the remaining timer of the returned HIT.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Will reject?
As with most Google Requesters you are much more likely to be hard blocked than have your work rejected.

I'm getting a message that says "an error occurred" when I open a HIT
This can be due to a few different things.

First, check if its a common error by reloading the frame a few times. You can accomplish this by right clicking and finding the "Refresh frame" in your browser. Alternatively this script will do this for you automatically.

Next, consider that if you return any active HIT hosted on Endor from your queue you will be locked out for the duration of the timer remaining on that HIT when you returned it.

If you haven't returned any Endor HITs then another Endor HIT in your queue may be marked as the "active" HIT, you'll need to open HITs one by one in order to see which one actually loads. This is often caused by accepting a new Endor HIT in between submitting one and opening the next, so try the end of your queue first.

When do Wills normally drop?
There is no known pattern as to when Wills become avilable. Your guess is as good as anyone elses.

Qualifications

Will is not known to use any special qualifications or qual HITs to determine worker eligibility for their HITs.

HITs

Tip: You can click on any of the PANDA links on this page to see if this requester has blocked you
Finding actions in videos - should take around 5 minutes
These HITs ask you to watch 20 short excerpts from YouTube videos and identify if a human does something in the excerpt. They are generally straightforward, but care should be taken to look at the timer/duration on the HIT as Will has the habit of changing them from as short as 20 minutes to as long as 10 hours (usually his batches are 1-3 hour duration timers).

GroupID: 39OF0ZKO7RRG3PLCDBC1J5WO2CIDMU | PANDA (This is for the 60min duration version, one of the more common)
Reward: $0.40
Duration: Varies by Group, 20 minutes - 10 hours
Auto-Approval: 22 hours
Qualifications:

Total approved HITs is not less than 1
HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 90
Location is US

Instructions for these HITs can be seen here:

The layout for the video excerpts looks like this:

Users should use the buttons on the right hand side of the video as they are faster and the bottom buttons are prone to broken code. The right-hand buttons no longer work after the switch to the Brian Z account. Clicking Yes (the green thumb) also brings up another question: Did the action last for the entire clip? Yes/No

Scripts

Auto Reload Google iFrame on Error
GreasyFork Link
Author: mmmturkeybacon
This script will automatically refresh any open Endor HITs that have the "an error has occured" error in them. This is useful for finding the active Endor HIT in your queue. No page request errors will be generated from this script as it only operates on Google's server.
Is this on Endor?

Author: @Kadauchi
This script will overlay an alert onto any HITs hosted on Endor in order to give users a heads up that returning the HIT will lock them out of the server.
